Worth waiting for: The best filtered water

It's been tested by several agencies and apparently really does filter lead, well enough to be used with lead-contaminated water. The taste of the filtered water is great--as good as the Brita regular filters and better than the Brita long-life ones. The downside is that they're slow, and sometimes very slow. The speed varies from filter to filter and sometimes over the life of each one. They're also hard to find. And warning: Pur makes a faster version that doesn't filter lead and is deceptively packaged (the filters are "certified lead-free" or something like that).
