Hard to put down, very insightfull into politics of the US Senate.
I did not know what to expect from this book but found that it was very well written, and easy to read, regarding the politics in the United States Senate over the last forty some years. The topic, supprisingly, was not about Justice Kavanaugh but how politics is affecting the justice system, as it is in almost every area of the government, and how very partisan it has become. It identifies the classless behaviour of our elected officials, on both sides of the isle, as well as examples of statesmanship. The authors, by using Justice Kavanaugh as an example, show the citizens what individuals have been going through when appointed, how unfair the process is to them, and the affect it has on their families and friendships. To gain the full effect of their research this book must be read with an open mind, if not I think that one would miss out of the full effect of their research and miss out on a reason to be more involved in the political process to bring honor back to politics.
