100 amp battery cutoff

let me begin with, I have done alot of wiring on boats and cars. I bought this cutoff thinking it was made for 100amps. Unfortunately that is not the issue, the terminals at best will fit a #10 gauge wire. #10 at best is 30 amps, so if I can't fit a 100 amp gauge wire why buy it?
