Spend the extra $$ for a full roof mounted system
Antenna within the dome is small and has marginal gain to receive the satellite signals. No margin for error. Any even small obstacle to include rain fade affects it. Has an advantage that it can be placed perhaps in the clear where tour camper is not. Unit would prefer less then 50 feet of coax cable to operate. I would recommend going with a full size roof mounted system even if it costs more.
