The Shure 58A is a noticeable improvement to it's mate, the original 58.
I specifically bought this microphone to go with a special harmonica adapter, so I could free myself from the dreaded "harmonica brace". This is the upgraded model of the standard Shure 58 and has better qualities for live vocal performance. I read a few blogs and one owner had done a 50 mike comparison in the 58A's price range. He'd given the 58A high marks.

Two Amazing Music Monsters for the price of One!
What can I say about these two musical icons that hasn't been stated before? Both the CD and DVD are terrific. Really love the DVD where you can see it happen. Great mix on both discs too!

Martin Flexible Core Strings
These strings are great for acoustic guitar "Finger Style" playing. My sets are Silk & Phosphor. They feel more malleable and have a great tonal balance.
