MeFoto GlobeTrotter A2340Q2 Aluminium Tripod Monopod Kit BLUE
Bought it from dc-photo-stuff- they are amazing. Answered my questions fully. Shipped from Hong Kong to the Midwest USA IN 3 DAYS!!!! I got the four section (not available with US dealers yet) model which is a bit longer then the US 5 section model. The 4 section model is sturdier. Comes with a nice padded case. Fit and finish are A++. The reverse folding for storage makes it very compact. Head is nice and has a tension knob as well as a lock knob for the ball. Also has a pan lock and plate lock. Will hold my T5i + 75-300 lens full extended - no problem with all legs extended and the center column down. It will hold my gigapan robot with the same camera setup without using the bottom leg section. Turning the unit into a monopod is easy. For extra monpod stabilization I bought the Benro-VT2-14cm-Monopod-3-Leg-Base which works great. You can even take the head of the Globetrotter and attach it to the VT2-14cm-Monopod-3-Leg-Base and use it for a mini, very low tripod. Super happy with everything. Check out dc-photo-stuff-.

Great book from a Roadies point of view
Great bio from Queens head roadie Peter Hince. Very well written, funny and a good inside look into touring this amazing band. Queen was my first real concert and my first real date back in 1977. I was also a roadie for a small Regional band, so I can relate Abit. Indifferent to this wonderful book, if you want I know a little bit about what life on the road is like, I highly suggest you take a look at a little-known TV series called Roadies. It is a fictional account, yet it has some top stars, such as Tom Petty, Jackson Browne and others. Get the Queen book and watch the TV series.
