Not a good item. This did not work.
I tried this in my machine and it didn't work. I had high hopes because I have not seen this item anywhere else. I thought perhaps I had seated it wrong but then I tried it in another spot that is more accessible so that I could make sure it was in and seated properly and it still would not make the connection to the drive. I recommend looking elsewhere for a solution. The shipping from Germany is like 5 times what this part costs. So returning it isn't really a viable option.

Good power supply for hobby electronics.
Works as it is supposed to. I will buy it again if the need arises.

Great for remote USB application.
This is exactly what I needed to use a usb device that was not physically close. Additional software required to do that, but this made the requirement easy to achieve.
