Even the simplest games can be the most fun.

Excite Bike for the NES is truly a classic. Compete in races to try to win against four other racers, or just beat the clock. Controls are fairly simple, A for acceleration, B for overdrive, and the Up and Down buttons to switch lanes. Overdrive is best used when coming up on a bump or hill so you can achieve maximum height and distance, but be careful, because if you hold B for too long, your bike will overheat, causing you to wipe out. This game has an interesting feature: the ability to program your own course. you can make it as long as you want and with as many obstacles as you can cram in. Make it easy or challenging to test your true skill. The graphics are not the best, but they are decent for a very old NES game. the little biker sprites are cute and surprisingly realistic. it has enjoyable and catchy tunes, and even if you get last place in a race, you are still awarded with the victory music, and your biker jumping for joy, so you are still satisfied even in defeat. All in all, a great game, and highly recommended. If you are as big an old school gamer as I am, than this game is a must have.

Being one of the very first techno/electronica bands ever, Kraftwerk created a new genre of music which has inspired and continues to inspire many bands, most techno, but also such famous ones such as Coldplay. the songs are great, very long, and very enjoyable.
