ONE NEW Designed Permanent Windshield Mount For The Valentine, V1 Radar Detector

Suction cups NEVER AGAIN! This mount is AWESOME!!!

The screws fit the V1 plastic cradle perfectly as does the small metal plate. Remove the V1's garbage plastic suction cups with quick release from the plastic cradle. Then simply twist out the screws and place the metal plate over the cradle. The screws tighten to the perfect tension, and there is no worry about over tightening. I wish I found this mount 15 years ago when I first bought my V1!!!! I highly recommend this product!!!!!

NOT EASY TO INSTALL

You will definitely need TWO people to install this. I attempted to install this by myself, but found it impossible. You need one person to position the holder into the small cubbyhole to the left of the steering wheel. You will also need one person to drill the screws into the dash. Attempting to position the holder while also drilling into this confined space was impossible for me. The OEM holder is high quality and looks great. Just be sure to have someone else help you install it.

Looks cool

These fit perfectly on my 2013 Smart ForTwo bumpers--two in the back, but only one in the front. I never bothered to look at my front bumper until I went to install these. Apparently the 2013 only has ONE mounting hole in the front (passenger side). When I bought these I discovered other pictures online which showed two installed in the front bumper. I guess these are 2014+ model year bumpers. They look great & are easy to install. Just pop off the protective cover with a flat head screwdriver and twist these into the bumper.
