Works
The multitap works well and does the job that it was intended to. Memory cards can be read off there and there is no loss of any control from the controllers.

Great product
1 of 1 found this helpful I only have a 5.1 surround currently waiting to get a 7.1 so I am unable to talk to the extra 2 speakers at this point, however it does exactly what I needed. I have an old XPS laptop that cannot connect to the TV other than a 2 channel not allowing me to utilize the surround sound speakers. This external sound card allows for an optical connection through the usb on the laptop and results in a full 5.1 surround sound experience. The only thing you must do is install the driver on the disk that comes with the device.
