Marvel Universe Toy Biz 10" action figures
This was a cool line of toys that came out in the early- mid 90's. Many of the X-Men, Spidey, Captain America, and other Marvel characters famous and obscure, were crafted into toys. While they were inexpensive when they came out, many are now scarce and expensive. But if you can find them, they make nice display pieces. RECOMMENDED.

Great Mouse Guard story, and other fun (short) stories for old and young!
Great Mouse Guard story, quality hardcover presentation. This is actually a Free Comic Book Day sampler, with a number of different short stories from the same publisher. Some are better than others, but the Mouse Guard stories are always fun, and appropriate for kids 2nd- 5th grade. I recommend this as an intro, but find some of the Mouse Guard collections and you and your kids will be pleasantly entertained!
