24" Oil Fuel Cable Hose Clamp Pliers Locking Tool for Spring / Flat Hose Clamp
    Dec 31, 2017
    Worked better then expected.
I needed to use my new hose clamp pliers tonight.Temperatures are now getting below freezing and tonight is New Years. I had no cover to get under while working on the old suburban. It’s a 2004 and it doesn’t have a drain for the radiator. To drain the radiator you must remove the lower radiator hose. And tonight I had the right tool for the job. Within minutes I had the hose loose and draining . Then it was time to put it back on. All I had to do was slip the hose back into position and release my new hose clamp pliers. Then add antifreeze. And run it for a few minutes to get it to circulate. I found that the tool worked better then expected. It didn’t give any signs of weakness . I was able to do the job from above the engine compartment. I never had to lay on the ground and it made an otherwise daunting task easy. This is a must have for any do it yourselfer.
