Super Product--High Quality
The shots were right on after installing these sights. Fitting (filing of the sight dovetail) was required. Use a 60 deg.
diamond jeweler's file and a diamond embedded stone for the sight base. Do not work the dovetail on the slide.

1 of 1 found this helpful Needs custom fitting on 1911s other than Kimber. A mill file and India stone for the notch engagement and Dremel tool or die grinder w/ small diamond ball grinder for the detent recess are needed.

Adapted
Adapted solenoid to fit Carrier humidifier flow valve by removing original defective solenoid and replacing it with this one. Also replaced plunger assembly and rubber seat-- fully compatible in size and electrical specs (24V DC w/ male lugs that plug into unit's rectifier). A great value--saved $50 over original valves on Ebay.
Note--This complete valve unit can be used as a humidifier flow control unit by placing a water restrictor available from Aprailaire in the 1/4" feed line.
