Nice shovel!
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a specialty shovel, and it comes with a specialty price tag. No surprises there. It is very well built and works great for cutting plugs in the grass while metal detecting. So much easier than using a hand spade. This will get you down about 6" on the first cut and its very easy to go deeper by removing some more dirt. Weight is not bad for a steel shovel. The length is maybe a bit short for optimum comfort while digging (I'm 6'2" and I have to bend over slightly to use it). But the nice thing about the length is that it doesn't drag while I'm walking. This would be a 5-star shovel if the price was more reasonable. Overall its a great tool for a price that I can live with.

Very nice spatula
I was looking for a good quality spatula to go with my new Blackstone griddle. I started using a cheap set from Walmart but the things were so heavy. They would tire me out in just a few minutes. This 8x3 spatula from Mercer is just perfect - nice and light but still plenty rigid. Overall the size and thickness is great for hash browns, scrambled eggs, fried noodles, etc. I do plan on filing or sanding the edges down a bit since they are kind of sharp and squared off from the factory. A quick few passes from a sanding disc or some work with a file would make a big difference. Overall this is an excellent tool that just needs minor work to make it perfect.

Mine was defective
0 of 1 found this helpful Did not work when I got it. The check valve inside was blocking all flow in both directions, so I removed it entirely. Now the adapter works well for refilling bottles.
