Not a good product. Ineffective
Too weak to stop the gate from dropping, too weak to be of any assist in lifting.
Put my old one back on and it works better than the one sent.

Bad design
1 of 1 found this helpful The portion of the part that is made of plastic cannot handle the work it has to do. I’ve replaced three. Others on multiple Nissan Titan forums have the same problem. ALL MANUFACTURERS should be accountable when they produce a poor product/part.
But Nissan is aware of this and other failures and frankly they don’t give a damn. Last Nissan I, my family or friends will ever buy if I can prevent it. Tired of liars, thrives and cheats
