Excellent information and practice. It would be nice if they gave brief summaries of solutions for mor answers
I have read his t first edition which contains the same information. The advantage of this is there are more practice study problems. The information given is excellent but sometimes there seems little pieces of information where you need to connect the dots. More specifically, there are excerpts from tables which allow finding results very easy. As soon as I looked into the full set of tables in the real publications it took a while to understand what I was actually looking at

It might be the VW
If you have ever replaced your VW Jetta bulb you might understand this. The adapter by itself fits well into the original headlight socket. Getting the bulb aligned with the adapter and locking it in place is challenging. I am still not convinced it is installed correctly.
The light is day time white but it doesn't seem to light up as far in front of the car as the original OEM bulbs. To be fair, I am still not sure I have the bulb and adapter installed properly, nor am I sure if the "filament" is oriented properly. Both these could potentially increase forward visibility, or may have no impact at all.
During daylight driving I have been told I am much more visible with the lights on compared to the OEM bulbs
For anyone wondering, I did not need any additional adapters to compensate for the low power draw and I did not get any warnings from my computer system, although I didn't get a warning when my original bulb was burnt out either.

Update to Google play for functionality
3 of 3 found this helpful The Fire OS has a bit to be desired. Research how to update to the latest fire OS and then research how to install Google play. These make it much better to use. For the price and the aggravation of getting Google play installed, it is still a good phone.
I still figure out how to see my recent apps but that is my biggest complaint. I like having the original camera app, many other people change the OS to Cyanogen
