New But.... Required Some Setup
Yes these units are new, but my set seemed to already be programmed to a base unit (not included) instead of set to the factory default settings. So in order to register them to "my" base unit, the units had to be cleared and set to the manufacturer's default settings. No problem. YouTube video of the very simple steps and code to enter in order to do such. Once cleared, the proper message was displayed on the handset that enabled it to be registered to my base. Placed it in the base cradle and in less than 15 seconds the unit was registered. Perfect! All is good. Very pleased that I was able to take a 2 phone system and increase it to a 4 phone system. All at a price much less than purchasing these units retail.
