Vtech 5.8 GHz cordless phone model ia5870
After 18 or so years of hard use, my Vtech 5.8 cordless phone (model ia5863) was beginning to fail in charging (even with new batteries). I was very familiar with their capabilities. So naturally when it was time to replace it, I ordered another, but with two handsets so that one of them was always charged. So glad I did. The clarity is great. I live on a 1/2 acre and can go to the farthest spot away from the house and have no problem using the phone. Couldn't say that about my previous cordless. This is very handy when I'm outside working in a flower bed, doing some landscaping or mowing the grass. Never miss a call. I love it!
