Durable and very stable
2 of 2 found this helpful Excellent notebook. TPM module and other business-class features. My last one survived sliding off the roof of my car at 30 mph and bouncing down the roadway. All I had to do was re-seat the HD. 16GB RAM and an SSD speed it up dramatically. Dell still updates the system drivers and CMOS remotely as of 12/12/2020.

Security and High Quality at a Value Price.
1 of 1 found this helpful Feels like the premium device it is suppose to be. The tutorials are simple, effective. Navigation is fast. When the device kept turning on in my pocket I found all of the detailed settings on one page and switched-off the "swipe-to-wake," as I remember. Problem solved and I switched-on "wake when picked-up" and "sleep when placed face down." Very simple yet sophisticated like me. Everything works in default, but the fine-grained tweeks are easy. All of the labels are in natural language and the related options are on one screen. Menu nesting is only one or two levels and feels just right. You can get where you want fast and go as deep as you want from there. What a concept.
So, all my contacts were in a old DroidX, my fourth one. Verizon was no help. A Google search offered up horrific online-discussions about importing contacts into Blackberry. I logged-into BlackBerry support and entered the same string, "Import DroidX contacts into Z30." The first result was a link to a web-service that gave very simple instructions. I loaded apps and the phones connected through my wifi and all 480 contacts and every scrap of detail copied to the Z30 in 30 seconds.
You know, conflicts-of-interest for a monopoly are a perk. The temptation for a monopoly to abuse their position is eventually overwhelming. Blackberry was in the same position a few yeas ago. When the monopoly easily crushes straight-on competition they have no incentive to innovate. Eventually they fall behind because the competitors have a huge, huge incentive to innovate. Maybe it works out.
This is my second day with the device, with Blackberry and their OS and it's been good.

Very good image and sound!
Low light performance is great. Bright lighting is not necessary for a good image. Makes using a webcam more comfortable and natural.
