Getting back my childhood one game at a time
2 of 2 found this helpful I first got NBA Street on my birthday back in 2001 when I given my very first Ps2. I’ve played this game religiously till I was able to beat my cousins at it who were all older than me at the time. I very stupidly sold my Ps2 collection at 16 when the next gen consoles were on the market. I’m now 27 and slowly getting my old collection back with some new additions to it. This collection can’t be completed without NBA Street.

The game that brought me and my step dad closer together.
2 of 3 found this helpful NBA Street 2 is truly a massive improvement over the original. Not saying the first game wasn’t good cause it still is to this day, but the sequel truly shows love for basketball and the culture and history that surrounds it. When I was 14, a friend of mine at the time gave it to me cause he didn’t really like it and my step dad saw me play it and got hooked. His eyes lit up the moment he saw the 25 NBA Legends that were playable in the game. He would tell me about these legends like Magic Johnson, Dr. J Erving, Clyde Drexler, and Wilt Chamberlain as he’s seen them play on the court cause his dad was an NBA referee back then and took him to all of the games. We truly bonded over this game and now at 27, we can relive those memories as both of us have spoken about how much we missed this game and with the unfortunate and tragic passing of Kobe Bryant, this game is now more important to us than ever before.

A love letter to Scooby Doo fans
2 of 2 found this helpful I got this game along with my brand new PS2 back when I was 9 years old on my birthday. I had so many fond memories of it from the gameplay, story, music, and characters. If you’re a fan of Scooby Doo Where Are You, this game is for you. It feels like an episode from the show and features the classic characters, Don Knotts making a celebrity cameo, a majority of the monsters from the show, and sound effects including the laugh track. I’m hoping that this game gets a remaster just like SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom did and it gets reintroduce to a new generation of gamers.
