Use for XWFE if you save the chip on OEM filter.
SAVE THE CHIP on the label of your OEM GE XWFE filter. Remove label, save the chip. Then tape it to your fridge and you can use aftermarket filters for 20% of the cost. This filter worked in my XWFE fridge perfectly. However, it will continue to say that the filter status is expired with the red light on the front of the fridge, but otherwise everything flows great.

Junk quality, stopped working after a few months
1 of 1 found this helpful Maybe I got a lemon but this thing has to be reprogrammed every few weeks and in the past 6 months or so has even then not been very reliable. Sometimes it works the 5th time you enter the code, sometimes it works if you mash the code in back to back multiple times, one time it needed a new battery, and sometimes reprogramming it works sometimes doesn't. I ordered another keypad from someone else 6 months ago for the inside of the gate and that has worked great. this one is junk
