Seems solid
1 of 1 found this helpful Had this heater for about a month and it is working well so far. However, it does not always ignite on the first try, perhaps due to using D batteries for ignition. However, it usually lights the first time or second time I turn on the faucet. The input water coming from my well is very cold, so that all 3 dials need to be adjusted to maximum values when using the shower, which is further away than the kitchen sink. Then it does give a nice hot shower. Then, when using it for hot water for the kitchen sink, I have to remember to turn some of the dials back down to avoid scalding my hands. I think that those are variable you need to consider with any unit of this type, especially if you are living off the grid as I am. Definitely a big improvement over the 12 year old unit that I had to light by hand!

Good machine, but terrible instructions.
It does the job, providing a nice shot of espresso. However, the instructions are very confusing, especially with regard to cleaning. They send you 3 different cups to hold the grounds, but don't send you the one you need to clean it, which you have to order separately. Also, they sell you this liquid cleaner, which you find out later is only to clean one part. You need to order the powder cleaner separately too, in addition to the liquid. The machine, itself, is sold and does a good job.
