No fear!
One by one, I plan to replace all of the amateur-brand sizes I use a lot with Greenfield spiral flutes. In harder metal like stainless, the difference between the one I bought and my old stand-by Craftsman is night and day. I found it effortless to use in comparison and well worth the cost difference, if only because I wasn't scared spitless it was going to break off in the hole with every turn.

Outstanding part!
1 of 1 found this helpful I installed this speedometer on a chopper, meaning a bare bones motorcycle with no extraneous garbage, that has a small gas tank and a big engine. Though speedometers are convenient, what I really needed was a trip meter to track mileage and avoid running out of gas- reserve isn't that much help with a small tank. The MCL-5400 was a breeze to install, all but invisible where I mounted it behind the handlebar risers, and so easy to calibrate that I couldn't believe how accurate it is- it's not just close, it's been dead on the money every time I've checked it. I haven't hit rain yet so I can't attest to how waterproof is, but Dakota Digital says it's good to go. Considering the obvious quality of this part and how long the company has been in business, I believe them.

Good tools, great price!
These tools work great on aluminum. I haven't tried them on anything harder.
