A great player.
Asa no-frills player that generally sounds great this is the player for you.

Not the quality of the cassette players of the past. It's OK
1 of 1 found this helpful Once you start using this machine you can tell that the manufacturers put as little as possible into the quality of this machine, hence the cheaper price. I am comparing this to my Teac cassette player recorder I bought in the 90's which had wonderful noise suppression features and light touch controls and sounds amazing if you use high quality tapes and recording methods. However the Pyle cassette player/recorder works as advertised. The sound quality could be better. I find the sound "passable" . I have to use it a little more with various tapes till I know for sure what it's really all about.
