Old stock, but still the best dry splicer
This simple-looking device is one of the most functional and successful support tools that Kodak produced for amateur format film enthusiasts in the 1960s and 70s. Unfortunately, this plastic mechanism, which perfectly splices both types of 8 mm film and, in addition, 16mm films, is no longer manufactured by Kodak. But, thank God, there are still small companies on the market that produce splicing agents. We, 8 and 16mm film collectors buy and use these extinct machines where we see them nowadays.
