Great Product, But Will Fade

It's great, if a bit impermanent without being fixed. I'd recommend always using something like Retayne after dyeing with Rit, even Dyemore on synthetics, particularly if it was a cotton blend.

Retayne Retains Color

It really, really works. Rit dye and even Jacquard get lost in the wash. Retayne helps retain it. Just follow the simple instructions (you'll need hotter water than you can usually get from the tap) and let the washing machine do the work, or stir in a pot on the stove. I haven't tried it on store-bought color yet, but I hear it works beautifully even on that. Just wash cold or cool after you use Retayne.
