The fit... ugh...
If you have some spare time (and a fair amount of glue and an inhuman amount of patience- you *can* make this work)... but omg- what a pain this is to get to fit correctly without popping right back out again if you don't want to run glue across the fins of the trim and pretty much stand there with your hands going numb to make that happen.
In short- if you get it to fit- *awesome* looking product. If it kinda fits- you'll need a good amount of glue and time to spare to get it right. If it looks like it will fit... well, good luck with that. I found it was a 60-40 split on where I thought this would slide right in and where it was just too big or my fingers were pretty much killing me.
Oh, also- every time you cut a piece off to fit, that area goes an almost pinkish white color from the pressure. Scissors: this is a certain outcome. Box cutter: a bit better. Maybe if you have a scalpel and the hands of a surgeon, you can make it happen without the color fading. But that's just a guess because I certainly don't. ... *GOOD LUCK!*
