Ornate Pictorial Calligraphy
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this book to begin to learn advanced calligraphy (the pictoral kind). The book takes it examples from old calligraphy that has survived which are so hard to find. The book also is excellent in giving of examples that are easily followed. Not only can you copy the examples but it gives parts of calligraphy so you can for example draw your own version of a bird with the parts. The pictures are large enough so that you don't have to squint to see them and the many different syles assures that you can find something you will love. My only negative is that it is not hardback. Other than that it's perfect!
