Better than air.

So much more power than an air one. I have been using this with 2" sanding discs and surface prep discs, all have worked very well. With a 1.5 ah battery it runs a little over 5 minutes of constant highest speed. Bigger batteries are a must for longer uses. Best things are the tool wont freeze up like air ones.

Cheap, but can pack a punch

Purchased this for pumping hydraulic fluid. I work on forklifts and at times need to drain hydraulic oil tanks from lifts that arent working. I tested this pump using the supplied hoses and i drained 5 gallons in 50 minutes (pretty bad). Why 5 stars then? I changed out the tiny suction line with the same size 1/2" hose as the discharge hose and had great results. I drained out 4 gallons in 4 minutes or less, about a gallon a minute. Realizing this was made for vehicles and pulling the engine oil out through the dip stick tube, the small suction line should fit. Most cars are 4-6 quarts so it should take 10-15 minutes to drain. I wouldnt try any oil thicker than 10w30, i think would be to thick. There is a sticker saying to only run pump for 30 minutes before letting it cool off. I ran mine for 50 minutes continuous without issues. Pump was a little warm afterwards but nothing to be concerned about. Pump also primes itself easily 2-3 seconds with the larger hose, 5-10 with the small supplied hose. I recommend getting this if you have been thinking about it.

Charges like its supposed to, with a descent price.

Well, its a battery charger. Using it to charge 3000mah li-po batteries, it takes about 5 hours to recharge each battery. It is by no means a quick or professional unit. It is however great for novice or beginner, just plug it in and it does its thing. Charger gets mildly warm during charge but nothing i would be concerned about.
