US Army Ka-Bar
Over the years I have owned several Ka-Bar Model 1220s. There is, in my opinion, no blade that is more reliable, be it on a camping or hunting trip or on the battlefield. The seven inch blade is the perfect size for my bushcraft needs. The stacked leather handle is shaped for a good grip and is tough. Unfortunately, the sheath, which is well made, is made in Mexico, but that is forgiven. In the future though, I would love to see them made here in America. I own several Ka-Bars and each has it's specific purpose. I wouldn't have any other blade hanging on my pistol belt. They are battle tested and are number one when it comes to toughness. They come out of the box with a razor's edge and retain that edge longer than a lot of other blades I own. Being the Army model, they are the preferred blade for the Marine Corp. They are tough and can take a lot of punishment before breaking. Not that I would try, but I'm just saying. A lot of my buddies humped a Ka-Bar and swear by them. Ka-Bar makes the finest combat knives for the price which is very reasonable. So if you are wanting a fine blade made in America, go with this model Ka-Bar. If not, there are many other models, both fixed and folding, that will fill your needs. In closing I highly recommend this model. It is great quality and priced reasonably.

Great value and confidence builder in the kitchen.
There are several things which make this product a great buy. First, they are light weight unlike the metal safety gloves, whose links can rust and break over time. Second, they work perfectly. Having tested them with a razor-sharp Ka-Bar with both straight edge and saw tooth. Upon examining them after tests, I found that no fibers even came close to being frayed, let alone cut. Third, you only need one unless you use both hands to cut with. Being right handed, I used the left glove and my wife uses the right one since she is a lefty. And last of all, the quality is really great. Look to using them for many years to come. That concludes all of the good things about these gloves. And now the bad. First of all, they run a little on the small side. But I'm not complaining about that. Second, they can get messy really quick. hand washing them and they come clean easily. Third, I wish I had purchased a pair of these years ago. Overall, this product is well worth purchasing. They are a great value and will protect your hands as advertised. I highly recommend this product and it is truly a five star value.
