It's only not five-star because I have to get the hang of using before I can tell how well it works. So far, however, is going well and is the best constructed flow meter I've ever seen.

A TRULY non-kink (and lightweight) hose
This is my third pocket hose, and while it does have one significant shortcoming, the ease of use (weight, maneuverability, LACK OF KINKING) outweighs that one shortcoming for me. The shortcoming - it is easy to pucture, although that issue has been improving with each new edition of the pocket hose. Keep the hose up and away from where cats might walk on it (or decide to strop claws on it), and be uber careful to turn off the water, and not just turn off the hose.
Older, shorter-tempered, and don't care to wrestle with a "light" hose that weighs a ton, and non-kink hoses that kink more than hoses that are not non-kink. Pocket hose is truly easy to tote, maneuver, and in a few years of use now, I've never had one kink, EVER, with daily or close to daily use.

Other than neck a little large, is perfect
This is my fifth purchase of this top, and my originals from 14 years ago have now worn out, so have started replacing.
The pointelle fabric and style has changed a little over time, this one seems just the very very barest smidge less warm, and the neck is larger than the originals, but still an excellent buy - warmth without sweat!! I use them for biking in temperatures down to the high 20s, simply adding more layers as the temp drops. Unlike the high-tech fabrics, I do not sweat, I do not cook, I do not freeze after cooking and sweating, AND . . . the top doesn't stink after a ride!!
