Good, solid astronomy binoculars

I bought this mainly to take on camping trips with my two sons. The stars are amazingly clear, and we use this with our Celestron SkyScout to look at items of interest in the night sky. They seem to be well made and fairly solid. They are very powerful, and holding them by hand is nearly an impossibility...everything you try to look at bounces around at even the slightest movement...and they are fairly heavy, making it difficult to keep them steady. You need something to rest them on or need to mount them on a tripod. I don't think they are as good in quality as the higher end choices you will find, but I do think the are a good value for the price (I paid under $100). I also like the fact that they come with a solid carry case. I previously owned a pair of Celestron SkyMaster Giant 15x70 Binoculars that accidentally fell of my closet shelf...which I why I ended up buying these Cabela's. Hopefully the case this pair is in will help matters should an incident such as that reoccur. Overall, I've been pleased with them and I do recommend them.

Good machine, but only component connection

This is a great television, but to get a true upconversion picture you'll have to find a DVD player that upconverts through a component connection. They are no longer made, but you can find them occasionally on eBay. Also be aware that it is also very, very HEAVY due to having a standard picture tube instead of the newer LCD or plasma screens. However, if you can get one for a good price and can tolerate the lack of DVI or HDMI connectivity and the weight, you'll be happy with it. Its wide screen is a plus.

Hi quality and looks great on the camera.

Fits the camera perfectly and is of very high quality. Or ordered direct from the manufacturer on eBay, which means it shipped from China. Took a while to arrive, which I knew it would, but saved me over 30% of what I would have paid here. Really makes the camera look classy and adds a bit of protection. Very pleased with it.
