So simple a cave man can use them.
As small as a truly functional tire iron should be. You can get smaller and lighter but they're only for on the road emergencies.
No moving parts. And best of all...
IT IS A PARK TOOL, THE STANDARD BY WHICH ALL OTHERS ARE MEASURED.

A&R Laces - Fit To Be Tied
Have been using A&R waxed laces for decades. I have the whole family's skates outfitted with A&R laces(9 pairs). I prefer the waxed laces as they stay put when pulled tight as you address the next set of eyelets upward. Waxed laces also stay drier when skating in wet Spring conditions on outdoor ice. Polyester fibers also don't weaken or stretch as 100% cotton laces do. As a man with size 13 skates I appreciate that A&R is one of the few manufacturers to make 132" laces which allow me to open the tongue wide for easy insertion on my foot without the laces pulling through the top couple of eyelets. My only gripe is the 132" laces are made only in black or white as far as I've ever seen anywhere. How about some 132" laces in dark "Dartmouth" green, my favorite color?

INSTRUCTIONS NOT INCLUDED!
Instructions not included... Because if you need instructions on how to operate one of the six simple machines(even one with no moving parts) you'd best set the chainsaw down, carefully back away, and nobody will get hurt!
