Worth it. But get extra batteries.
2 of 2 found this helpful Has spots for two batteries and you'll need them both to run for any decent amount of time. It has a turbo feature that blows fairly powerful but it's only for two minutes. Then you have to let it rest for a bit to do the burst again. The turbo speed is really the speed you'd want it to be always so there's some limitation there.

A cloudy mess
Thought this would be a better alternative to sand. It wasn't. It clouded up the pool and wouldn't settle to vacuum it out. I read that it needed back washed and rinsed so my solution was to drain my pool and while doing so back wash and rinse this stuff while doing so. 15k gallons of water it was rinsed with. The pool was scrubbed with a brush and soap then refilled. Turned on the pump and again a cloudy pool. Yay. Try a different brand.
