US WWI/ WWII M1916 Colt 45 Leather Pistol Holster BLACK - Repro
Jul 03, 2019
Bang on!
I’ve owned a real one of these but had to sell it. This is 100% authentic. The fit is tight just like the original. The leather is the same gauge as the original. It hangs off the belt like the original. The price is much less than you’d expect to pay and the stitching is strong and tidy.
Genuine Audio Technica AT95E Dual Moving Magnet Stereo cartridge with Stylus
Jun 15, 2017
AT95-E Audio Technica Favourite.
Easily the best cartridge up to £50 or even more! Set it up accurately and it will give you a lively musical delivery of your vinyl. Two nuts and bolts at the sides at regular headshell centres- it's a bit fiddly but you've only got to do it once. This cartridge has been a no-brainer forever. Can sound a little harsh maybe on some tone arms but overall doesn't do anything horrible to the sound like others may at this price range. Decent bass and sound staging. Will work well on turntables up to £250 and some of the more expensive ones. On the minus side the stylus is tricky to remove(£20 to replace) but for only a fiver more you can replace the whole cartridge which many an audiophile would do. Well worth an audition. I've used one on and off for years in a Dual 505-3 or a slightly tweaked Pro-ject Debut. and I've got a new one put by for when I need it. Recommended.

Audio Technica VM520EB Moving Magnet Cartridge
Oct 01, 2017
VM520eb maybe the AT95e sound but refined!?
I like the sound of this- a lot! You might not, its all down to taste. I thought that the very good Ortofon 2m red would suit my ear after upgrading from an Ortofon OM5e. It did for a while in terms of stereo separation and detail but I always preferred the tonal balance of the AT95e. I made my decision to try out the VM520eb after Google translating a German review by LowBeats, not many English reviews yet so here's one. Fans of the AT95e who wish it had lower bass extension without it becoming boomy; higher more detailed treble extension without adding harshness; broader stereo image and deeper behind the speakers imagery; better midrange detail that isn't cloudy, you're wish may have come true. I've never gone into high-end turntables and cartridges so I can't comment on how this would compare to cartridges costing £300 plus. I can say though that I am fussy about my sound and have found a cartridge that to my ears gives me the sound I want. Compared to the 2m red, in my opinion, the VM520eb has higher treble and deeper bass. I am using a Pro ject Carbon DC turntable. On your equipment it may sound different and there is nothing wrong with the 2m red. Hope this helps someone.
