OEM but…
…you will need vice grips to remove the pre-installed adapter if your car is 2nd Gen. I assume the smaller mount is for 1st Gen? Kinda crazy being that a 2nd car is shown on the package. That said, this is OEM, so no third-party’s logo on the product and materials are the same as what the rest of the car is built with. Perfect!!

Thick, heavy mats
I’m not sure what I was expecting when I bought these, but these mats have exceeded the quality I thought I would get. I suppose I was thinking they’d be stiffer and thinner, but they are thick and non-rigid. They dampen the sound of your shoes as well as carpet, and when driving the car they feel just like the regular velour mats. They lay very nicely in the car and fit perfectly. The driver’s side seems to be molded to fit over the hinge of the gas pedal to some degree. This is normal. Another review mentioned cutting this detail off, but of course that area of the floor beneath would then no longer be as well protected. There is a tab along the top edge of each mat that you are supposed to cut off, but I’m not sure why that is. The floor of the car on either side is uninterrupted where the mats reach the top, as opposed to the left, right or bottom edges (which of course are already the right shape.) I put them in without trimming and they fit just fine; there is no particular need to cut them. For those who are interested, the logos are silver metallic foil with thick shiny clear acrylic or something similar laid on top. They look great and you can’t beat the finished look that OEM products give your car!! So glad I finally got these mats.
