Best of the best - HTC Vive modded
2 of 2 found this helpful HTC Vive with the lens upgrade is a significant improvement. The clarity is about 20% better, but it does take a toll on your eyes--fatigue sets in earlier than with OEM lens. But hey, I'd take an hour of improved visual experience over two hours of moderate screen door effect. Also, suprizingly the Vive-n-chill little fans actually make a difference. They do in fact cool the brow, and you can turn them off with a little button. Unfortunately the little fans do add noise, but if your game is loud and engaging, it probably won't be an issue. All-n-all, this rig will be relevant for a while!
