Just not for my dog.
My dog barks a lot because she is deaf. I was hoping this collar would help to quiet her but the whole time she is barking the collar's alarm is sounding and the vibration is doing its thing but the dog just ignores it all. Might work well on other dogs. It is a good value and does what is claimed.

What I think
it works well but sounds as if the batteries are not enough power and might go dead in a short time.
