Celestron Astromaster 130EQ Telescope

Great optics

The optics of this scope are, really, very good for the price. The equatorial mount, whilst heavily constructed, is 'okay' but not very smooth in it's operation. Though it provides very good views of stellar objects, It may be a little advanced for some beginners.

Good value adaptive charger

As reviewed on my Samsung Galaxy S7, this charger is as fast as my adaptive home charger, well built and good value for money and runs on either 12 or 24volts Very happy.

Good, within reason.,

I find this mount quite ok, BUT if you wish to mount it on a tilt (ie: forward or rearwards) be aware that the BALL fitting cannot be tightened very well. Even as tight as I can manage to get it, with this mount tilted rearwards, and my GPS ( Peak life - motorcycle GPS) tilted back somewhat, It always ends up flopping down and being had to read.
