Motorex 108795 Protex Spray 500ML

Good stuff and priced right

I use this product to waterproof my motorcycle riding suit. Granted, my Klim gear has a pretty good reputation for shedding rain but, after a couple of years of wear and any number of washings, it can always use some "assistance." I started using Protex because I got tired of the ___wax products since I never saw any benefits from using them. My gear soaked through in no time. Protex has done a great job for me. I spray it on after I've washed my riding gear with a detergent designed for waterproof materials and a day or so before my ride. It goes on easily and, after a few minutes, the surface of my gear is dry to the touch. My last ride was to Ireland and the UK where it rained probably 3/4 of the time. I was totally dry the whole time. In terms of cost, I think the Protex 500ml can will handle 3 or 4 (or more) separate coatings of your riding jacket and pants, if not more. I've found the cost is at least comparable to the ___wax products, if not better, based on the number of uses I get.
