These won't let you down!
I've been after these for some time, since the trouser manufacturers stopped supplying them. They are much, much better than the kind that spring apart when you breath on them. The quality is excellent. They clip and unclip smoothly, and are very secure when in use. It is easy to shorten them if you follow the supplier's instructions.

Beautiful action
I love this head. It is simple, uncomplicated and fairly light. It is a dream to use, giving just the right amount of drag on both axes.
It is designed to fit onto a full-size Manfrotto tripod, where the usual screw stud is supplemented by three grub screws in the tripod plate. However, I have used it successfully on a lightweight tripod that has just the screw stud - you need to be careful not to allow it to accidentally unscrew itself over time..

Great Energy Saving Bulb
Surprisingly bright, but just what I wanted. It takes a few seconds to warm up, but does not flicker whilst doing so.
