as good as the more expensive ones
If you like wood picks, you'll like these because they are just as good as the ones that cost 3 times as much. If you think you might like to try a wood pick, one of these lets you buy one for a low price so you can try one without much of an investment. I like the ones with the carved-out grip, but the flat ones are good too. (I mostly play bass with mine.)
