NEW! Sterling by Music Man CT30HSS-SBK-R1 S.U.B. Cutlass HSS in Stealth Black

What a a Strat should be
I purchased this after watching a few reviews on YouTube. I had heard good things. The guitar is on the heavier side but it is well balanced. Pickups are great - the bridge is crisp, the neck isn’t muddy, and when in the 2/4 positions you get the classic “quack”. The trem is a 2-point fulcrum style and can be set to float and flutter like Jeff Beck. I use 2 springs to get a more loose feel. The neck has a satin finish on the back to keep it fast playing and is very comfortable. it is a D style neck so it’s a bit thicker than a Strat but a little narrower. i thought I might have an issue with this but not at all. I have smaller hands and it still very comfortable. The neck is also a compound radius so you can really fly on this and it can handle all kinds of playing styles - great for blues and country pickers but equally accommodates rock, metal, and jazz. Back to the trem - there is a small lip that you can use if you don’t want to put the bar in just to do little “waivers” - a nice feature that also acts as a palm rest at the same time. The finish is absolutely beautiful. The guitar feels solid. There are 2 things I would change though: the tuners are non-locking and with all my trem guitar I install locking tuners. The Schaller M6L 4 x 2 set is a direct drop-in so those will be going on. The nut is plastic so that will be replaced with a Tusq nut. A little nut lubricant to reduce friction helps but for me I prefer Tusq nuts anyway. This is an extremely playable guitar and at the price it sells for it is well worth it. There is a difference between this and the Ernie Ball version including price but as someone who has played for almost 40 years, I’ve played many guitars and modded a bunch as well to get what I want. This guitar is what I would consider a sleeper -the only mods I would do is upgrade the tuners and install a Tusq nut.all very simple and well worth it. For me I would consider a workhorse guitar that can pretty much handle anything you throw at it.

Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 | Trans Green Burst
Oct 27, 2020
THE standard in 80's Rock and Metal guitars for a VERY good reason. Get it.
This is a gorgeous guitar and plays amazingly well. The frets are rounded perfectly with no jagged edges. The frets are polished extremely well. The body is very comfortable, and the Duncan JB and '59 pickups are THE standard in rock pickups especially if you want those 80's rock tones ala VH, Ratt, Crue. BUT the ability to SPLIT the pickups makes this guitar extremely versatile for Blues, Country, and even Jazz if you roll the Tone off to warm it up. The Pro-Mod San Dimas is a sure to be a classic - Charvel guitars from the 80's are still highly sought after and retain their value very well. Not many people like to get rid of them though because they play so well and are made with quality craftsmanship. The Transparent Green Burst finish is gorgeous too. The spoke wheel makes for on the flow truss rod adjustments and it is DOUBLE reinforced - which makes it very resistant to warping. And finally, the Floyd Rose system is not the cheap version. The studs are quality metal which ensures smooth movement, the arm is also closer to the original FR bar which is also nice. TIP: wrap some plumbers tape along the outside of the collar to help close the space between it and the arm to tighten it so it doesn't swing so easily (old school trick ;) FR bridges are incredibly stable and once you tine them and lock them down they stay in tune VERY well. Get a tremolo stabilizer or block it down to make string changes easier. Get this guitar - the combination of a basswood body, maple neck, jumbo frets, JB and '59 pickups, and a quality Floyd Rose bridge make this THE standard for rock and metal guitars. And they come in other great colors.
Camp Chef Everest Mountain Series 2 Burner Propane Matchless Ignition Camp Stove

Great camp stove and 20,000 BTU heat for EACH burner!
This is high-quality camp stove. Each burner is 20,000 BTU so it puts out a ton of heat and you CAN get it to simmer contrary to what some reviews have mentioned. It is easy to cleanup, and the built-in igniter is effortless to use. The 2 side windscreen stay put and do what they're intended perfectly. The only minor issue I saw was that the handle - while recessed - might not be so comfortable. The workaround is simple - a few pieces of duct tape along the edges gives you a better grip without risk of digging into your fingers.
