Leica V-Lux 5 rocks!
2 of 2 found this helpful This isn’t my first rodeo. I’ve shot Nikon, Canon, Sony, etc. and I knew Leica by reputation was a solid camera, but this one surprised me from the first image. From the proprietary jpeg color space, the depth of clarity with the lenses, the ergonomic design for accessing all the functions at your fingertips, the awesome brightness and definition of the evf with the fully articulated high def lcd monitor as well, covering 28-400mm (equivalent) without changing lenses and all at a very respectable f 2.8-4. This is more than “just” a bridge camera - this is a beast for enthusiasts and pros alike. Editing a batch of images from Washington state I was blown away. And . . . I didn’t have to carry 30 lbs of slr gear! As a Nature photographer I would like to see better weather sealing - Hint, Leica.
