I've been a model railroader for 50 years now and have enjoyed every minute of it. I am fortunate to work for a top-tier model manufacturer and really love seeing the creative and innovative uses of skill, talent and technology in our hobby. I also enjoy railfanning, quiet times on the beach and sharing the hobby with my grandson. Choo Choo city is my home (Chattanooga) and wouldn't have it any other way.... These are my mountains. Great loco for the price!
The Atlas Trainman line of locomotives are excellent models. The running gear is the same as the Silver and Gold series but lack the fine details each of those come standard with. The fact that it doesn't have separately applied details is minor. The details left off are readily available from third party parts makers. The operation of this locomotive is smooth and quiet just like it's more expensive cousins in the Silver and Gold series. I am not a fan of plastic knuckle couplers so those had to go right away. A Kadee #5 or #148 will fit easily into the pocket along with others from Kadee. If you are operating DCC on your railroad, this unit is a simple conversion. All-in-all, I would definitely recommend this or any of the Trainman locomotives for either a beginner or experienced modeler.

Great Value
These are handy for cleaning your airbrush and not getting VOCs and other particles flying around in the air. The jar is glass with a plastic lid and includes a metal airbrush rest and handle. It end comes with a small filter for exhaust port.

Great decoder at a fair price!
The TCS WOW Steam decoder has the best sound of any I have used over a 20 year experience of installs. The depth of the chuff and the awesome selection of whistles programmed in are fantastic. There are also many tutorial installation videos on their website for those that need some guidance.
