Great part
It was a different part number than what was listed on the OEM parts list, though it was an old part number that was used on older models. It fit and worked great. Come to find out, when I was doing the part swap, they both had the same numbers stamped on the metal bodies, so they were the same....

slow to power
2 of 3 found this helpful this set that I bought has a slow start up when you pull the trigger on my Dewalt drill or sawzall.
Not instant power like original batteries. so you have to kinda 'warm up the gun' so to say before you commence to drill or saw. For what i do at the house, it will work and suffice. I have only had for a couple of weeks and so far it is still a ramp up to full juice on the trigger squeeze.
as for how long it lasts, i cannot say. i have cut a few tree limbs ( 2" and smaller) with the saw and only a few screws drilled in. time will tell how well the batteries hold up. The last actual DC9096 lasted 4 years using every day in an industrial setting.
For what i will need at the house it should be just fine. the 2 batteries will probably last as good as one original DeWalt .
