Old technology - Good reliability

This is my 2nd HP 5590. I like this flatbed a lot. It is old tech, but very reliable. It has a 50 page feed and it is slow, but it works great using Twain driver. Other inexpensive multi-feed scanners are faster, but unless you pay big bucks, they tend to miss feed pages and skip over scanning altogether. This one doesn't. Great machine for the price.
