Runs like new
SRM-225 would not start after setting for a couple years. The fuel lines seemed ok, but the filter was completely covered with some kind of crud. Replaced fuel lines and filter with OEM kit (The stopper holding the lines was falling apart), put in fresh gas and still would not start. Ordered this kit to get the carb at a good price. Replaced carb and air filter from this kit and started and runs well so far (about 3 hours of use). Once I got it started, starts on first pull. Seems to run as well as it did when new.
I cannot speak to longevity. I can now get non-ethanol gas locally and plan to use that or some fuel additive to deal with the ethanol from now on. Putting in the fuel lines was a pain - for me anyway. Very tight fit. I finally removed the gas tank to get in (3-torx bolts). Note the position of the fuel lines so you can get installed in correct position - difficult to rotate the stopper holding the fuel lines once installed.
Hard to go wrong for the price. Especially since it seems to work fine. Looks to be as good a quality as OEM, but that is hard to say unless they hold up for about 8 years like the OEM parts did. I do not use it that much.

Great Legacy Wrench(es)
Love these older USA-Made Craftsman double-box end wrenches. Well made, feel good in the hand and have, what IMO, is an appropriate length for the sizes. I know I have complete sets of these in Metric and SAE, but like so much have no problem getting extra of certain sizes I run into a lot.
Cannot comment on the ones made overseas (China?). I would not have one.

So far, so good. Good deal Lucille...
Great Deal. Got tired of putting air in front wheels. I think so old that rims were rusting out on inside allowing air to leak out. Mowing with them almost all summer already and no lost air. Thank goodness. Original tires were also beginning to rot.
Went right on my JD LA-105. Would certainly purchase again if needed.
