Older Panasonic Lumix DMC digital cameras are a good value.
1 of 1 found this helpful For a 10 year old camera, this takes really good pictures and decent videos. Panasonic used a proprietary USB cable to connect to a computer for viewing and transferring pictures, and this camera didn't come with any cables. It does have a mini HDMI port, which I tested by connecting to a computer monitor and it works fine. I already owned a similar camera (DMC-ZS5), so am familiar with all the features and controls, and have spare batteries and a charger. Oddly enough the USB cable for the ZS5 is different from the ZS6. Removing the SD card to transfer pictures and videos to a computer works fine, but is slower than using a USB cable, but that could be due to my old card reader.
