35 f1.4 or 35 f2
Both are great lenses - so you can’t exactly go wrong.
Pros of the older f1.4, it has loads of character, it’s incredibly sharp and produces incredible bokeh. Negatives, it’s the nosiest lens in the Fuji line up, with the 60mm perhaps equal. It frequently hunts to hit focus.
Now the Fuji f2 - it’s weather sealed, almost silent, quick to focus, very sharp and produces nice bokeh. It honestly feels like a more advanced lens, compared to the noising old f1.4. That said, it still doesn’t compete with that special Look you get form the 1.4.
It’s a very close call between them... neither “smashes” the other as some people like to claim. Personal preference is key here, so I’d suggest trying both. The F2 is definitely more bang for you buck though.
